Jane delights in pattern and form. In much of her work she enjoys playing with the idea of positioning pattern against pattern, as well as using subtle mixes of colour and texture. Her personal collections of  textiles and vintage ceramics are major influences in this work. Subtle cultural references are also glimpsed in many pieces and are a pervading influence.
